Aptera companion app

I haven’t seen any discussion about if there will be any kind of companion smart phone application available. This (non-Aptera) guy has come up with some ideas that I think are pretty decent. This question was asked and answered in the previous forum. One is planned and at this point, since Aptera is at Beta stage, a prototype is probably being tested. Of course it is tightly coupled/integrated with the vehicle software and UI as it must support the features of the engineered vehicle. The engineers are pretty astute and creative and do a good of research to include desirable features from other EV implementations. At this point there is no information on “Sentry mode” for the Aptera. We will have to wait for future announcements for that information.

This submittal is probably a little late for this iteration of Aptera but maybe added to the list of potential enhancements considered for the next version of the vehicle.

It will be interesting to see what the final result is and if will be released concurrent with the production vehicles. As of now no sentry mode according to Chris in his responses to Aptera Owners Club questions for early production vehicles. Perhaps an over air update.
