Aptera Owner's Map.
Posted by Roshiyu on August 10, 2021 at 10:48 amLet’s not forget to bring this back from the old forum! Afterall, it’s nice to see how many of our fellows we can expect to see on the road. ;P
And for the new people just signing on, why not add to the map? After-all, I can’t be the only one is Saskatchewan, right? ….Right? D:

I’m the only one in my area, but I also live on Vancouver Island. Guess I’ll be easy to spot!
-
Could be worse. You could be in South Dakota.
All in All, we’re a pretty dispersed bunch.
-
I am a resident of South Dakota but only live there one night every 5 years to renew my driver’s license.
-
-
I am a full time rver and South Dakota allows you to be a resident and the only requirement is to spend one over night stay every 5 years. I use a mail forwarding company who gives me an address and forwards my mail to me. Texas and Florida are two other states that attract full time rvers because of no state taxes and other benefits. I live in Pennsylvania 6 months of the year so that is where my Aptera will be most of the time.

I was on the original map in Ontario Canada #10339 Paradigm 40kwh and #13553 AWD 60kwh The new account doesn’t show the Paradigm ???? I’m glad I put the order #s on the map or I would have lost them????
-
And then there’s us in a country the same size as the lower 48 and more sunshine than common sense but only four of us on the map so far.
Gotta do something about that. Have a guess where.

Added myself Barry Hendrks Secunda South Africa 22624

I just went to my desk computer (this post is from my iPad) and opened the reservation map. Wow. Very cool. Discovered a Paradigm reservation holder just down the road from me. Jim T – if you read this, would love to connect with you somehow, or at least see your Paradigm when it comes in. So, how do I add myself without messing up the map?
-
Underneath the search bar is a few options. ‘Add Marker’ is on the right side of the hand. Simply click that, and place it. Then you can edit/fill in whatever info you want to share. 😛

Yay. I just found another Aptera neighbor near Charleston, SC! I love this map. Maybe in the future, after delivery, the 3 of us (maybe more) can form an Aptera caravan through Charleston, then back and forth on the Ravenel bridge. Talk about Aptera exposure and promotion! Wow. (I wonder just how we can connect.)
-
I can’t believe there is only one person accounted all by their lonesome for in the entire New Jersey! And I know for sure there are more people than one there. 😀
-
I live in Sechelt, a 40 min ferry ride from Vancouver, & I have ‘dreamt’ about a Sola<font face=”inherit”>r powered car for decades, so I am very excited to have reserved my 600mi Luna !</font>
I’m interested in possibly creating a B.C. Aptera network/club (?) and the 1st Aptera road rally.
Anyone else from B.C.?
Interested ?
-
I’m interested. I’m in Shawnigan Lake on Vancouver Island. I can hardly wait for my all-wheel drive 400mi Luna.
-
-
It may not be B.C., but Saskatchewan is in Canada at the very least, right? 😛
-
Only ONE Aptera in all of Latin America??? C’mon, get the word out! 😀
-
I might be the only one in Costa Rica for now, but we have a great country wide recharger grid, so there is bound to be more in the near future.
Costa Rica says it’s the first country in the region with nationwide electric vehicle charging grid
@Aptera: having the website in Spanish (and other languages) and the measurements in metric system would open more than half the world of customers too.
🙂

Hi, I have been trying to get on to the google map since September when I ordered my car but I keep getting “Could Not Add Layer you have reached the layer limit for this map” any suggestions on how I can be added? Keith
-
It’s not add layer it’s add marker. Search for your address and then add a marker, you can get the Aptera icon from style
-
-
Added mine. I’m sure not everyone has added theirs, but if they have then I’m the only one in the Colorado Springs Area.

<div> I just realized this forum exists. Added to map. Question: has someone started a Google sheet where we can add our pre-order number, configuration, and location? I figure it will be useful when delivery emails finally start sending out that we could track who is receiving what configurations when, as Aptera has been saying it’ll be mostly battery dependent after the Paradigms.</div><div>
</div>
(BTW is it safe to reveal our order number? Wouldn’t want someone claiming to be me when mine is ready)

Welcome Jacob!
That was a part of the initiative for the map when it was first suggested. Reservation holders were to provide their configuration and reservation number, location, and other information. Some did but most didn’t. I am sure concerns with privacy.
We understand now that the number is not a sequential reservation number. Apparently at first it was, but was changed to a reservation ID number. Delivery of production vehicles will be done by a different process now that is based on the configuration (400) mile configuration first followed by other configurations starting in California, West Coast of the U.S. then move East, then overseas.
All of the above may change as Aptera is able to plan more concretely.
For sure, you will be contacted directly based on your contact information stored in Aptera when it is your turn to receive a production vehicle based on whatever the final distribution scheme is.
