Aptera investor info (2)

I invested on Republic, but I don’t see a way to link that to my aptera.us account, and of course I would like to attend the jan 27 webinar. Anybody else in my boat?
-
does anyone know if there is a way to setup recurring investments in Republic?
-
Hey Mohammad, I just purposely started an account with REPUBLIC just to get an answer to your question about auto debit investing. I hope to hear from them soon. Meanwhile if anyone has an answer to this question….please weigh in.
-
I have not yet received an email with the webinar info.
I invested directly via Aptera prior to Republic being an option. When I go to my account and check my invest page, I still get the following:
Your investments are not yet listed. To become an investor click here.
I did receive an email weeks ago saying my investment was received. Would be nice to get the webinar info so i can take part tomorrow.
-
While the recording of the webinar has been posted, it is limited to those who receive the email link. For those investors that didn’t get the initial webinar invite, nor the link to the recording, I suggest you email equity@aptera.us and ask them to fix your lack of email issue and perhaps send you the link individually.
-
Was anything of interest or import shared in the investor webinar?
Or are people prohibited from sharing any details publicly?
-
I think we were instructed to keep just about everything private. I will say that it built confidence (for me, at least) in the vehicle and the company. Maybe I’ll be able to find an extra $10k somewhere.
-
I was able to watch it. It was pretty incredible, inspirational, and very enlightening. Makes me glad to be an investor and a switched to launch edition res holder. Another 10k would put me in current top three on the list but sadly it’s not in the cards at this time. I hope beyond all hope it works out, for all of us.
-
Bump Aptera. I’m seeing some illegal copies showing up on the web, but I still haven’t received a link to view it
-
Aptera only occasionally monitors these threads. As mentioned above, write to equity@aptera.us to fix your lack of email and potentially a direct link to the recording.
-
-
It is unlikely anything will happen with the stock for quite some time, even after it becomes tradeable.
-
They can do a spilt, but until the IPO is about ready why do you think they should. It’s the same pie, just more pieces with a spilt.
-
While your answer is correct, I too would like to see a split, but more like 3 for 2 just prior to the IPO. A great deal of the price is psychological as many buyers do not even understand valuations.

Did you use Issuance or Replublic to invest?
I used Issuance and it still shows “Not Received” and a portfolio value of $0.00.
How long until this shows the investment?
-
When will Aptera release their next SEC filing? From their last circular it only goes to June 2022. I know they don’t just release them yearly as previous stock offers showed previous quarters.
-
I believe Aptera needs to file twice a year, though some info is released at other times during significant event filings. I would expect the next one to be their yearly report, likely before the end of next month.

Aptera posted its annual 2022 financial report with the SEC:
-
In addition to the company being down to 55 employees, these two sections were an interesting read:
“California Energy Commission Grant
In February of 2023, Aptera Motors was approved for a $21.9 million grant from the California Energy Commission “CEC” to add critical capacity to accelerate scaled manufacturing. The grant has limits on the use of funds. The CEC grant is part of the state’s ongoing effort to promote clean energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The funding will be provided through the CEC’s Clean Transportation Program which aims to accelerate the development and deployment of advanced vehicle technologies. The grant is contingent on the Company achieving certain milestones, including having matching funds, as well as providing updates. Though management is working diligently to meet the requirements of the grant, there is no guarantee it will be able to do so.
Andromeda Sale
In April of 2023 the Company signed a settlement agreement where Aptera agrees to assign all of its right, title and interest in and to the capital stock of AI to each of the Andromeda Interfaces Founders (“AI Founders”) and in return agree to assign all of their right, title and interest in and to their Aptera Shares to Aptera, specifically, 251,087 shares of Aptera common stock, which represents the entire share consideration received under the Merger Agreement.
Aptera shall own all right, title, and interest in and to any Intellectual Property made, invented, developed, created, conceived or reduced to practice as a result of work conducted pursuant the AI Founders employment by, and services to or on behalf of, Aptera since April 1, 2022, or otherwise created jointly with Aptera or Andromeda since such date, through April 2023. Each AI Founder will assign and otherwise transfer to Aptera all such right, title, and interest in and to such Intellectual Property as is necessary to fully effect the foregoing. AI Founders will retain ownership of the design and intellectual property to certain products it had prior to being acquired.
The Company has evaluated subsequent events that have occurred through April 28, 2023, which is the date that the financial statements were available to be issued and determined that there were no subsequent events or transactions that required recognition or disclosure in the financial statements.”

Aptera posted an amendment to their annual report:

Watched the live stream, very excited about the update, anxious about the production launch. Unfortunately in todays society, even being part of middle class America, disposable income is a luxury many of us can’t afford. Had 2 thoughts although 1 has been done by other start-ups (ie:Fisker). 1. Take early down payments, even a 1000 dollars at 42000 reservation with a 50% take rate will add an additional 20 million, and at least the consumer feels they are putting the money towards a product and not just an investment. 2. NEW Idea that I don’t believe has ever been done before. Investment Subscription—- 10.50 (1 share price)per month, minimum 6 month subscription, give subscriber early access to videos as a perk. This allows people without much disposable income to still invest, with a minimum 6 month subscription, you guarantee investment and funds coming in. Thoughts?
-
It’s been mentioned before but taking in down payments on vehicles and then using those funds on things other than building vehicles is a MASSIVE liability on Aptera’s part. It’s why all those $100 reservations sit in a separate account that won’t be touched till/ if vehicle begins.
As for the subscription idea…transaction fees.
-
As ImAlwaysMIA mentioned, Aptera can’t use deposit money for the capital equipment purchases they need to get started. I read that would be illegal under California law, so all deposit money is kept in an escrow account so it will always be available to be returned upon request.
Although Aptera Motors seldom mentions it, anyone can currently invest as little as $210 in this company be going to https://republic.com/aptera .
Anyone who can’t afford to risk that amount probably should be keeping their money in much less risky investments or savings accounts (to save up for their Aptera if nothing else). 🙂

There are still 856 vehicle spots open but there is a pause now for us, I’m assuming the non-accredited investors will eventually get another shot at the remaining slots, if I’m reading it correctly?
-
The pause is not officially until Sunday the 11th of June! That’s why there has been a mad rush the past 2 days and will likely continue to be so until the drop dead date of the 11th of June after which only rich investors can invest.

Aptera posted a new filing with the SEC today:
-
Many thanks. The filing is to raise the crowdfunding limit, as previously stated. Skimming through and superficially everything seems as expected (mostly much the same as the 2022 filing with some updates) – anyone spot anything unusual?
* Price per share still 10.50
* 45 full time employees, 6 part time (slight reduction from the 2022 filing I think?)- This reply was modified 3 months, 2 weeks ago by

Question about my ACH payment: I bought, or perhaps a better word is ordered, 100 shares on April 28. I received an email on May 18 saying my payment was received “and you will receive an email when it has been finalized”. I haven’t received that finalize confirmation email yet, and it’s been about a month. I’m a little concerned- am I being impatient, or is that much wait time normal?
Thanks!

Assuming your funds cleared, check to see if they show properly on the Computershare site. The chat function on the invest portion of the Aptera website can sometimes help during business hours. Also, you can ask this via email to equity@aptera.us.

I invested a few weeks ago and my investment shows on the leader board (yeah!). However, my earlier investments are not added. Anyone down how this works? FYI: my earlier investments are listed in Cumpertershare, my recent one in the Issuance portal, and all are visible in my Aptera investment summary. Am I missing something? I emailed aptera, but I keep reading that they are a bit slow to respond.
-
Same for me after 6 weeks; that is to say, earlier investment not reflected on Leaderboard. How long did it take for yours to be updated?
