How backpacking in the Rockies made me rethink having kids

First time I’ve seen the details of why it was closed. A friend of time had a trip planned that got canceled last minute. Berg is an amazingly majestic; I went a little over 2 years ago. That said something lower on the trail must have been damaged also or they would still have kept open for the lower sections (including emperor falls).
Things need to change and that will require personal choice and the will for politicians (and the electorate) to stop treating emissions as free. The externalities are real and as a society we need change.
