    So, if I needed to charge overnight at home for 10 hours, 120 volts at 10 amps per hour at 10 cents a kilowatt it would cost me about $1.20? for about 120 miles? Is that correct? SWEET!.

    You have got it right. That’s a big part of why most EV owners do most of their charging at home. The price of charging out in town can vary wildly. Some sponsored chargers cost zero to use. That is usually an L2 or even just a place to plug in to a 120VAC outlet. It’s a cheap way for businesses to encourage EV drivers to “destination charge” at their establishment.

    Of course, if it is a sunny day, you may not need to plug in your Aptera at all.

Now
