Glad they are raising some more money. They need to be able to ramp up production fairly quickly or they will lose their window. There is going to be a flood of EVs in the next few years which will make it much harder to get noticed.

I would like to invest $1,000 when this month is over and I get my next paycheck. Will the offer still be open then? Or is it close to all the shares being sold now? Will it still be $9.20 per share?
-
Open now and the foreseeable future at $9.20/share. So minimum investment at slightly over $1,000. (109 shares @ 9.20/share = $1002.80) get it before it goes up again

I caught some of the issuance webinar but did anyone record it? Most interesting things I heard…
Total capital raise is $65M. (Crowdfunded – $40M the rest private)
Chris is in Europe to solidify supply chain.
Is $65M enough to get to production? Aptera 1.0 was looking for $150M in the form of a loan from the feds to get there…and failed.
Presumably everything is more expensive and they would need the same everything (factory, components, people, ect…) so wouldn’t they need MORE than $150M?

Hi John! I’ll share the recording from today’s webinar when it becomes available.

TThe big difference is the Detroit hot dogs had scrapped he three wheeled aptera for 4-wheel, steel-bodied requiring paint – a normal underpowered economy car that costs more to build.
Folks don’t really grasp the revolutionary nature of the production innovations being explored by Aptera.

I am trying to pre-order and ue the code I know I received. BUt unable to find it. Anybody know where I can find it. . Thaks in advance.
-
Search your email for “claim your investment perk” or email invest@aptera.us to get the code.
I got the $100 off pre-order code after I already pre-ordered. So I asked if I could have a refund of the $70 pre-order & they did it.

Go to “My Account” in the upper right hand corner of the home page. Then on the left side of the page that pops up, click on “Referrals” and on the page that pops up you’ll see the short version of your referral code. You don’t want to have to type in the long version. It about a hundred characters long.

Disappointed that there is now another Aptera happening that wasn’t announced before it happened similar to the implementation of Carta. Apparently not even ambassadors knew about it ahead of time so they could listen in. ☹

One interesting comment in the Webinar, Issuance person asked ” where is Steve”
Sarah said he was in Europe, working on getting production started even sooner ???
-
Steve AND Chris were both in Europe…In Italy…specifically Modena. I’ll let you do your own research on what, exactly, is in that particular town and then we can all speculate wildly on what that means. Usually though, when the CEO(s) need to be there, that means they need something from the other person/company…what that could be…?

Now, my investment is listed. I tried to place an order. It seems there is no discount for investors. Have they stopped the discount for investors?
-
I think the deposit discount comes via contacting them somehow – same as the production discount for investing over 10K.

The rest of the market is down substantially. Had Aptera followed that trend I could justify transferring some assets into Aptera stock. I suspect they want to raise their price. Bad timing for me.
-
I suspect that the market will be in recovery soon, hopefully, and that Aptera can have an IPO around October or later at an over $2 billion valuation that the CFO is aiming for.
-
Thank you @Oz (It’s Oz, just Oz) for putting this information forward to us!
But… am I the only one who finds its weird that Aptera prefers to pay money for having us clicking on a Facebook ad in order to get Aptera’s latest first hand information instead of providing such information right from the beginning at no cost here on aptera.us? Maybe Aptera’s CMO @Sarah Hardwick can enlighten me about possible reasons thereof.

I am wondering instead of equity, whether some form of company debt can be offered next round. For example, for every $5000 company borrow, the lender will receive a $7500 voucher toward future purchase of Aptera. Assuming half of the existing 21k reservation holders take the bait, Aptera will have $50 million to finish the production. 😀

Getting something out before the end of the year is critical. They failed to last year which was claimed as an intention on the previous years financial report. If they miss the mark again it might look unfavorably on the intention, productivity or intentions to be anything more than a money grab. Elio comes to mind.
Granted they are farther than Elio ever was and I believe they will succeed. I’m just putting good vibrations out there for them.
They really need to hit this goal and show they are in position to produce at least 40 a day with an easy ramp to 100 a day.
-
Only make 100 if the production line is running and they are made with production parts.
There is no point in making 100 cars if they are not production vehicles as it does not demonstrate the ability to scale.

An IPO now would not generate much money with stocks down.

Where is the code to apply to the subscription for the reservation?
-
Something to revisit later this year. I haven’t heard of how to apply the 5% off if you invest over $10K
-
I would suggest that you will receive that discount when you are contacted to place an actual order and put down an actual deposit. You are currently only making a reservation to get an Aptera not placing an order that would be subject to the discount.
-
I still don’t see my investment in the “Review Investments” page, even though its been months since it got processed. I received the carta link and everything already…
-
Has anyone heard about a new offering? Any idea what it will be offered at?
