Peter, may I suggest using the P-40 Warhawk Flying Tiger scheme or the modern version used on A-10 Thunderbolt II “Warthogs”.
-
Yes. The intimidating albeit iconic Shark grin of the (Curtiss P40) Flying Tigers livery. Some OP over at the r/ApteraMotors subreddit did a popular upvoted render, along with several of his other Aptera livery wrap renders.
I’d also vote for the above dark matte gray “USAF” color. The color coordinates well to the rest of the grayish toned Aptera body work, including the belly pan. From above, with the blackish blue solar panel roof, it will look like a sinister looking manta ray.

My favorite personally it still the chrome wrap. Love all the options you did. The off road wheel covers are really cool looking. With the bubble doors, an idea would be to have it be electrochromic glass & have it be opaque when you want or clear.

Timely.. As today is International Thank You Day . THANK YOU!
Sol Fan base or Off Road for me!
I don’t want my Aptera to stand out more than its Organic Shape .
Only white vehicles for me in the desert. So not going to change now. I have to stay with “ Black” for full solar. The black belly looks like a shadow anyway…
If I can get the US Customs and Border Patrol or US Forest Service folks interested in an Aptera “highway vehicle” … A plain green organization wrap rendering would be nice to show them!
Some Fed vehicles are being purchased “Electric” here.

I always appreciate your great ideas and graphics/renderings, Peter. Thank you for sharing these updates! As I have said for a long time, I am first in line to buy one of your aftermarket doors that removes the unfortunate view-blocking mid-window frames, even if at minimum just the upper half of the door is entirely clear for visibility. And your new ideas on the wheel pants are great. Although presumably a bit more aero drag, they have cool aesthetics (especially with the matching solid wheel covers) and completely address any potential clearance concerns.
You are diligently working on launching an Aptera aftermarket products company, right…? 😀

Those are really cool! I really like that orange one, maybe I’ll do that instead of Sol White for mine. Some of the other colors remind me of the funky shades that were available on Detroit’s 1960’s performance offerings.

Thanks Peter these are all great renderings. My 2 favs are the teal and the blue/noir, with a slight edge to the teal.
-
I agree, love the teal. Might have to also get the burgundy for the wife if we get two.

Your renders are immaculate, thank you so much for contributing your time and energy to the Aptera Community. Would you consider rendering different interior color options?
-
Wow. Great stuff!
I’m not sure I would have the chutzpah to do it, but love the orca design!!
-
I also like the orca design, but was also thinking about a full length dolphin design with the dorsal fin up over the window.

Peter, thank you for such cool ideas. I really like the stripes and the USAF themes.
-
Hi, thanks for posting these renderings, really fun to review as we all patiently await these cars… maybe some not so patiently 😉

Since we have your skill set available. Is it possible to get a couple of digital camo renders?
I would be most interested in some type of blue digital camo. But also some other hi contrast options would be cool.
