Even though I hardly ever listen to it, I do expect a radio. Despite the depth and breadth of my streaming libraries, sometimes I just want to listen to the local sports broadcast. It’s not a dealbreaker if it doesn’t have one, though.

True. I’ve installed many head units, speakers, etc. in various cars I’ve owned over the last 50 years, one more will be easy-peasy.

I’ve always installed my own but with Aptera, idk, she’s not the usual forgiving steel cell with plastic panels easily replaced from a wrecking yard or parting out ad. Maybe after delivery and tinkering a bit, I’ll change my mind.

If it comes with an FM radio I’ll probably use it occasionally. If it doesn’t, it won’t bother me. If, for them, it comes down to dropping a few features or bumping up the vehicle purchase price because everything is getting more expensive, the radio is at the top of that list of dropped features for me.
