The link you provided generates a 404 page not found error. I think the correct link is https://huggingface.co/spaces/dalle-mini/dalle-mini (you had the true link in there twice).

The double URL entry is a known bug with the forum. Posters need to remember to go back and edit any URLs they enter though most likely the problem relates to how the software handles copy and paste. I don’t know what forum software Aptera is using but it is the crappiest I’ve ever run into. It lacks the basic standard features expected in forum software.

I think all agree about the forum software. very frustrating at times. No attempts to fix it have been successful. Not a good image for a company that say they focus on efficiency.

I’m glad to hear it’s not just me. I’m pretty new in these parts and learning the quirks of the forum software has been a struggle. It’s is Aptera’s most outward facing presence. I keep reminding myself it’s the car that’s the prize. The website is just a dalliance along the way. But an easily accessible spot for reliable and timely information would be wonderful.

I’m surprised the AI knew what an Aptera is! It must have had extensive training.

Unfortunately, Dall-E mini only uses Aptera’s old version from around 2006.
About 10 days ago I let it fly through the Grand Canyon, dive between corals and sent it to Mars.
And of course I also fount the original drawings, made by Leonardo d.a Vinci

Looking at some of these results makes me think, “artificial, yes…intelligence?…uh…not so much”.
The “Aptera Tie Fighter” reminds me more of the spitting dinosaur from “Jurassic Park”.

I couldn’t agree more. “Artificial Intelligence” is a misnomer, also for more advanced applications in whichever field. But at the end of the day we need names also for new things. Unfortunately “Artificial Intelligence” happens to create not only a lot of overly optimistic expectations but also unjustified anxiousness and fear.
