Is there anyone else out there who is considering removing the wheel pants for daily commuting? It looks great without them. I’d love to have someone make some custom fenders for me. I can’t imagine the range would be affected much at less than highway speeds.
-
There is an option for the off-road friendly fenders. Taller clearance and stronger.
-
I probably will leave the more aerodynamic covers on for most driving conditions but for offroad I would rather have just a small fender. Keep in mind that the wheel pods house the turn signal/marker light.

Well, mine I guess aren’t hard to find necessarily but represents my configuration on both reservations. Can’t wait to get them.

I found an interesting Artificial intelligence that can creat images based on word prompts you type in. If you want to have some fun here is the link.

I’m surprised the AI knew what an Aptera is! It must have had extensive training.

Do these count? 🙂

Potential delta rear hatch
-
Most likely not. See Steve Wanamaker’s, of Aptera Owner’s Club fame, response in this thread:

This pic was posted a week ago…actually by me. It was determined fairly quickly by Raj that it was a GCI used by APTERA for one of their videos.

Another look at the potential Delta, maybe with a longer rear hatch and definitely deeper storage
-
I imagine that some of that depth illustrated will be lost once wiring, rear venting and the storage area decking are installed. Really curious about that well towards the rear. Maybe another rigidity form like the center “tunnel” between the seats.🤔

The rear assembly is supposed to connect directly to the battery pack, according to the assembly video. Plus, it would connect farther forward in order for the swing arm assembly to not extend past the rear end. It could possibly house some component of the charging system. Oh hell I don’t know, they never consult me on anything.😠😜
