    The takeaway from this is that they are planning on pushing the beta’s to their breaking point which is very comforting.

    An alternative takeaway would be that they’re concerned for the safety of their engineers.

      I’ll vote for this one. Also may have to comply to meet the requirements of their insurers

      My interpretation is that they are going to do aggressive handling tests and they are going to push it to the point that it might flip. The best outcome for these tests is that they won’t be able to flip it, second best is that the standard roof structure holds up, but if all else fails they put in the roll bars so that they don’t kill the guy who’s doing the testing.
