They did mention a few details but not raw dimensions. The current alpha seats are basically for show and not very comfortable (no lumbar support). The interview with the woman from Transport Evolved discussed this. I think they also said the headrest wouldn’t be adjustable at one point.
-
Nazhi, I hope they make the seats comfortable for all of us. I think Volvo makes seats that are above and beyond just about anyone’s so I’d be delighted if they used these as a benchmark for the Aptera seats.

If they aren’t my solution is something I’m sure most will disagree with : sheep skins. Makes any seat very comfortable but definitely not the slickest look.
-
@Curtis Cibinel Agree on the comfort of them 100%.
-
Agree with one caveat…for us with “senior” backs, lumbar support critical “must have”. Sheep skins alone can’t compensate for that.

theres always aftermarket cushions and lumbar support. i said aptera should do advertising deal with aftermarket product that enhances the car by advertising their stuff as options in order configurator. they test it for approval and forum can share their experience or find such product. that way, people dont choose another car b/c they werent aware of certain aftermarket fixes, for ex. if standard seats dont help them do they prefer a another car with built in seats better for their wants. tinted dislay HUD can help as less attention shifting, more intutive, spedometer. chargers and hoem batteries, solar roof etc could be a big deal

Here is a quote from Kayleigh Venne (Aptera Employee) from the “Can tall people fit into the aptera” thread; 6’8″. So outside of extreme cases everyone will fit in the Aptera. Only 3200 people in the US are 6’9″ or taller (source: https://static1.squarespace.com/static/585718168419c246cf6f204e/t/5ab7e2de70a6adbbb6bcf676/1522000606378/STATISTICS%2B-Dimensions%2B-%2B3-19-18%2B%281%29.pdf)

Patrick, for clarity’s sake in responses, are you referring to height or width? (Different dimensions completely in this case for analysis.)
-
@Patrick Whittemore – I’m going to assume that by “larger” you mean “full-figured”? Aptera’s cabin is at its widest at about hip level, where most heavier folks are at their widest. But remember, too, that Aptera has stated a weight limit (for driver, passenger and cargo) of 500 lbs. So two significantly heavyset persons might be more than the vehicle can accommodate…
