SNELL, Hydronics & other thoughts

The body of the Aptera could also be thought of aerospace inspired or a very strong boat hull, helmet or related (some trailers)… why not consider attempting a new consideration or “creation” of a “new” spec SNELL category (ie. motorcycle helmet “inspired”) rating but something suitable as a testing strategy for your composite body structure AND for marketing purposes too.
BTW There are also DOT related standards for helmets as well that are a less restrictive spec (that SNELL rated helmets exceed). You get the idea?
Obviously airbags, seatbelts and other safety related items very important too.
Super stoked by what I see as some existing tech from the aircraft but also the leisure market ie. boat & even high-end trailers applying to the manufacturing process and conceptuals. It’s all doable stuff thought of that way.
Even your battery (as well as cabin temperatures) could be controlled efficiently using Hydronic heating &/or cooling tech that’s already out there (Airstream Trailers as only one example but exist with others) but reimagined purpose. The channels in your composite inspires me of such including for the cabin too for that radiant heating and cooling conceptual. Two separate systems. Think of it somewhat like infloor heating (but also cooling) in a house BUT moreso using Hydronics, as mentioned; high end trailer market for that inspiration.
Also, consider Azdel (trailer industry) into your composite strategy (or as an interior liner) for superior strength and efficient insulation.
Aptera is an “alternative view” of the universe and that also applies to the reimaging of existing applications, processes & procedures.

Finally, and separately, think of how hull cooling of batteries would work in an electric boat (small Aptera branded one) and the same idea of an in hub motor style propeller in that regard. Awesome.

BTW, with Hydronic heating & cooling (radiant) of the entire cabin within the composite you may not need windows that open either. MELT/keeps snow off the car too.

One of the most often overlooked areas of a Hydronic Air to Water Heat Pump is the ability to cool as well as heat.
A hydronic air to water heat pump is the easiest way to maximize comfort with the ability to provide both heating & cooling. Leverage existing technology & your investment.

Side Note: Vehicle needs some down lit Green LED in the wheel wells and the Aptera will look like it’s floating/flying.

Echo Auto- Hands-free Alexa – in your car with your phone. Simple standard include IMHO:
Better yet if my projector idea below chosen. (Also has Alexa built in).

Finally, assuming we can attach devices like Chromecast, Roku, Apple, Firestick or Android streaming devices to run off center screen when parked for camping.
Does a 12v beverage cooler built in between (ie behind) the seat backs a good idea? I see there is a flap that is to come into place to fill void between deck and folded seat back. This cooler would fit between that (the two seats) and that helping to fill in that area (support) and void fully.
Finally, would be cool & easy for small LED projector to be an option so as to be able to project video to white panel on tent with an option to reverse image view that would make visible from outside depending on location of black out panel. Basically duplicate front and rear facing projector. Not a difficult tech add on. Visualize doors open for outdoor theater and sound.
