Dave, #10521, ordered on Dec 4th 2020. Recently switched to launch edition.

Ordered 2021-09, 0rder number 1651. Not sure why mine is different from most of the previous order numbers?
-
They changed the numbering roughly Aug of 2021.
Unofficial Formula which seems to fit the data reasonably:
If Pre Aug 2021: Order Number – 10000
If Post Aug 2021: (Order Number x 0.5) + 12000

I think it will take a few years before they call my number…

I’m 56,366 on Dec 23 2022. Maybe I’ll see mine in 2025; I originally specd the 600 mile battery pack but thinking the 400 will be more than adequate for me.

How did my Launch Edition number end up being so high up in the list? I hit LE immediately when it was announced. I realize that the number no longer means much but am just curious. How can an ID number be 58618 when on the Aptera website it says, “More than 42,000 people have already reserved an Aptera”?
Order ID Order Date Description Modify Order
58618 2023-01-20 Launch Edition Pre-order Modify
23852 2022-06-04 Sol White Pre-order Modify or Switch to Launch Edition- This reply was modified 8 months, 2 weeks ago by Jeff Siddons. Reason: I hit the enter key when attempting to put in a new paragraph

The order number is not equivalent with the number of orders – it never was and its indication of about where you are also changed over time.
-
Is there a way to see the total number of reservations? Or are we reliant on news updates?
-
Only Aptera has that number – it’s been around 46K for a while.
-
Are reservation numbers per country shown anywhere?
-
Again, something only Aptera would have. Chris sometimes mentions general overseas numbers but nothing specific.

I switched to the Launch Edition as soon as it was available. Only the interior color is different from what I had decided on.

19684 reserved in March 2021. When do I get my LE?
Not an Accelerator, so I know not the first 2,000.
- This reply was modified 4 months, 2 weeks ago by Peter Dezendorf.
-
Delivery timing will depend on many factors, such as location (once Accelerator vehicles are delivered, they will likely deliver only regionally), conversion rate (how many ahead of you go through with the purchase), production ramp, etc. We may get a better idea once deliveries start – maybe in a year.
-
Order #73031: LE with OpenPilot, Off-Road, and Camping Package. I think I’ll be waiting for a while, but that’s okay. I already own an EV that is fully paid off, so I can wait.
-
My order number is 465, order date 08/19/2021.
I bought stock for my original reservation, then switched to the Launch Edition when it was offered. Will not become an Accelerator at this point; I live in California, and my number is low enough to hopefully put me in the #2000 – #3000 group. It was rather disheartening to see my delivery date change again (2025), but I will continue to wait.
-
465 x 0.5 + 10,000 = 10,232 approx. general queue slot. The first 2,000 LEs will go to Accelerator investors, next any Paradigm orders that switched to LE are in the H1 2025 group, last the rest of us LE orders are in the plain 2025 group. You should be in the 2025 delivery group.
-
-
I’m 56,366, which puts me around the 38k – 40k position depending on the math. I recently switched to the LE since it was pretty much the same as my order (except for the Vida interior). It’s academic as to when I will get mine, probably late 2025 at the earliest? I’ll just have to wait and see… I just know that it will be worth the wait!
-
I just placed my order on 2/4/24 and got Order ID 74231. I reserved another LE on 2/6/24 and got an Order ID 74297. Do these numbers tell me how many car deliveries are in front of me?
-
There is a formula that will give you a SWAG to your position: order number x 0.5 + 10000
74231 x 0.5 = 37115.5 + 10000 = 47115.5 74297 x 0.5 = 37148.5 + 10000 = 47148.5
So you are roughly 47,116 & 47,149 in line.
-
-
46,000+….eventually APTERA will have an official count and placement.
-
The increase in the number of reservations has either stalled out or is being kept a secret. For the last several months it has remained at 46000 or 47000. Do you think that is accurate or are they not reporting any further reservations so as to keep potential competitors from trying to come out with a ultra efficient vehicle of their own. I am a accelerator and am currently trying to decide if I should chip in another 2K. If a thousand new investors a month were coming on board I would feel a lot more confident in putting down more money.
