Although production intent details on tires have not been published we always have this:

But for “answers” to FAQ already provided direct “from Aptera”:

    Search Aptera’s FAQ Spreadsheet

Please search the spreadsheet with Ctrl+F (for “Find”), or for Mac use command+F or cmd+F

So I would be surprised for anything more that Low Roll Resistant tires

No spare…Fix a Flat can included

It is all about minimizing weight

No run flat tires as they have to much resistance to roll. Most likely “Low resistance to roll” tires. But as Leonard has pointed out, we need to wait for production specs

I just hope they aren’t some stupid proprietary size that only aptera can use.

Remember when the dodge neon came out , and only 1 size tire would fit it , that no one else made and they cost a fortune because after all, who else is going to need that size tire ????

Hopefully aptera will use a common sized tire that many makers produce.

I believe they are 195/45-16, same as Fiat

I appreciate that Aptera made this pragmatic choice. Exotic wheels impact practicality of the vehicle.
Looking at the EQXX concept they made complex choices like moving underspoiler; non-critical moving parts suck.

Currently the same size as the Fiat 500, a standard size. A caution, with a lot of testing left to do, tire size may change. I am sure it will always be a standard US size. Nothing exotic or difficult to find.

Didn’t the four lug patterns come 14 in and the 5 lug patterns came 15 in?

As light as the Aptera is the tires should last just about forever.

Except that most tire makers recommend relacing them after about 8 years due to degradation (not wear).

    3.5 second acceleration eats tires.

Any one can destroy their tires any time they want. Fortunately you don’t have to accelerate at that rate.
