For those who like to name their vehicles, what moniker will yours go by?
Ours will be known as Korra…

Terry, of course

I can’t give it a nickname until I experience its personality and how it effects me.

Depending on the vibes I get from it after the first couple of days, I think I’ll go with…
1. Aggressive and Quick, I think I’ll name the aptera after Greasefang.
2. Calm and Confident, then it’ll be named after Lt. M’Ress. I also have a M’Ress bumper sticker already waiting, for the Star Trek ties either way.
3. Fun and Quirky, Nashi is the name I’ll go with.

Since it’ll glide over the road as easily as a rock floats through space, i’ll be calling mine “Comet”!

Probably name it EVE like the robot from Wall-E since the white version of the vehicle reminds me of her especially the green Aptera logo that lights up.

Gotta go with “the starship”. Getting a Luna class.
PS: Look up the footage from the first abrams star trek movie. Has the original version of the Aptera from ~2008

I’m thinking . . .

Depending upon how the app develops, we may be required to “name” our vehicles in the same way that the Tesla app requires it of its owners – so we may not want to share this information online…
MemberMay 5, 2022 at 5:50 am
are you suggesting Tesla’s can be located just by knowing its nickname? i highly doubt that
MemberMay 5, 2022 at 10:06 am
@Tyler Fisher I’m suggesting that, should someone acquire the owner’s phone, there might be otherwise private information that could be accessed by knowing the nickname of the vehicle.
The Honda app also requires the vehicle to be given a nickname so there must be some point to it or multiple manufacturers wouldn’t do it.

Wheezy (Named after the penguin from Toy Story)
Kind of a parody name as electric cars don’t make engine noise. Also the name of a penguin so (Flightless bird) for my black and white paint scheme.

I like Jetson 1 or Penguin
The wife likes Rosie (the robot from the Jetsons)
My Granddaughter (11yrs) says, “It a big scooter on wheels”
I just think it’s the coolest thing since the thing hit the automotive magazines back in the day and I can’t wait to take my old butt out and about to whip some necks around.
Then I want to hear them say, “You mean I could have gotten that for less than I paid for this?”
