In Some High-Tech fields, where Weight and Reliability are issues, Wiring Harnesses are being brought into the Future. Just a “Hot” Lead, and a Co-Ax cable (Or Fiber Optic for even lighter!) are being utilized for all the Peripheral Devices. Eliminates the Heavy COPPER run to and from Distribution/Fusebox(Circuit Breakers) thence to/from each device.

Each Device in this scheme (Example – Nav Lights, Horn, Headlights, etc) would have its own (Software-controlled) Switch on the “Hot” Lead, which is nearly the Only Copper Conductor – Saves Mucho Pounds!

Any Thought of this tech for the “Tech Forward” Aptera??? Altius, Fortius, Citius!

Yes, I understand that the Composite Structure would force a “Return” Copper conductor, paired with the “Hot”.

    Still, some weight savings…Cost/Benefit Analysis??
