Frequently Asked Questions

Aptera is in the Beta phase of our vehicle development process, which means we are still running simulations, conducting tests and updating designs in preparation for production. Information on this FAQ is subject to change as we evolve to our final production vehicle.

Does the program close after 2,000 people participate?

The program will end on March 26th, 2023, and only 2,000 reservation slots are available. That said, there is no limit to the number of investors that can try to qualify for a priority reservation slot by entering the leaderboard.

Then, the person with the highest total investment on the leaderboard at the end of the program will receive the first delivery slot in the queue, and the remaining 1,999 reservation slots will be ranked by investment amount. You can continue to make additional investments while the program is active to get an earlier reservation slot.

Can I participate in the program if I live outside of the U.S.?

With our Accelerator program, some new shareholders may be based internationally and have one of the first two thousand vehicles transported. However, shipping costs will not be covered in the Accelerator program.

As you know, our goal is to produce and sell Aptera in any market. Our Launch Edition vehicle will be delivered and tailored to U.S. motor vehicle requirements. Without our success firstly, we won’t be able to distribute in other places. We appreciate your understanding and continued support.

If I secure one of the first 2,000 reservation slots, can I transfer it to someone else?

Yes. You can transfer your reservation and slot to another individual. We will update the coveted reservation slot’s delivery details (new customer contact information) and you will be responsible for any terms or agreements made with the person you are transferring it to.

I have invested more than $10,000 before. Does this mean I will receive two 5% discounts?

To clarify: for anyone that invests over 10K, you are eligible for one 5% discount (up to $2,500 value) toward the final purchase price of an Aptera. So, those who have already invested 10K or more outside of the Accelerator Program have already received this perk and will receive one discount toward one vehicle purchase.
