    BMW i3 type tires for thinner wheels and wheel cover? to replace wheel, mail it to user.

    it could still work on normal wheels if needed, but most the time its a thinner wheel, lowerinf rolling resistence and areodynamoic drag

    i was saying about the interioir design, to make it more function over form, then derive aesthetic from that base design. i gave specifics, like steering wheel design, infotainment, HeadsUpDispaly nets replacing gloveboxes, but i cant find it on this forum anymore. old forum also had stuff.

    give us ability to change fake engine sound, someone can apply a higher pitch version of lexus lfa exhuast, or whatever. inside cabin sound only.

    having a stiff non moving antenna can also function as was for people to see the outer parts of wheel cover, and it should be placed at wheel driver is not near to so he can see it and place it when driving properly. a camera at the top end of it would also allow preserving momentum around a turn or around lanes, looking over most SUV towering in front of you, behind you etc. itd aldo help for parking this big car.

    one reason people buy SUV is for visibility like this. another reason for SUV is assumption that they need all the space when in reality they almost defintly could just use roof rack for unusual times when they could justify need for more storage space. the other reason is precived safetey:youtube channel called “apteras owners club ” did video on crash saftey… its not as simple as “big car= safer because big people and animal and big things generally more durable”, aptera could convince people its just as safe.

    its probably going to be same as mainstream companies doing it, why any different? so its less output turning per amount of steering wheel turning, but that output increases as you turn the wheel more, so u forced to be more careful with slight movement on the wheel when turning a sharper turn, but for lesser turns your not forced to be so careful. it maybe not annoying to use depending on wether your ok with being forced to pay more attention that much more, youll have to drive it to know that for your self. it is like playing a video game, so not much phsycal feedback from the steering wheel if any.

    not sure if this is more effceont than hydrallic lotus elise kind of steering rack, because electric energy is being used to move the wheels for the user more instead of simply assisting the users phsycal input. hydrallic would force user to pay more attention with feedbakc and bumps on road causing car to move around a little, so user has to stay focused enough to keep car form moving around, and when turning, wheel will give phsycal feedback naturally, and its more fun to drive that way.

    maybe argueably a 2 seater is better for the future of expanded (cheaper) delivery costs, centralized cheap apartment living dense population, public transport, centralized control of the means of life… bc if you do travel far to another spot of population density, presumably self driving(hopefully open source) will be done by then, so a group that would travel toghter in minivan would be in a few 2 seaters, which wont happen anyway often bc high cost of living and anti family propaganda. even passenger cars following a car with a driver, would be easier than full self driving and get job done given 99 percent of time its only 1two seater being used, maybe a second one, and the rest rented. could also rent a passenger specced amazon delivery van, bc such presumably most effceint for moving stuff around the population dense spots of living, and replace pickup trucks… or maybe even those replaced by semi trucks…

    i said maybe add a small wheel behind ror front of the normal wheel at back, dont know if it legally works. maybe even have the wheel not touch ground for less friction

      along with maybe making rear wheel turn for sharper turns and more areodynamic high speed lane changes etc, this small wheel turns too, otherwise too much friction when turning, low grip wheel tire thread, like some metal surface that wont cause sparks. connect it to rear wheel so no suspension of its own

    1. volkswagen XL 1 800cc and yet the engine drivetrain was big i thought of the 2nd seat beinf facing rear ward with engine in between driver and passenger and it might as well be a 4 seater at this point, otherwise aptera setup wouldve been presumably more effceint it seems it would get better mpge than tesla 3 if tesla was a 2 seater 4 wheeler it was rear wheel drive though… regernative braking would work better as front wheel drive. maybe the battery was too small to do much braking anyway . production of batteyr cars have more emissions than production of cimbustion car. iits also without as much as a problem with recyling the battery bc theres less battery, although still emissions on the road. battery could be removable, so it car drive without it while waiting on a replacement batteyr set through the mail the combustion would adapt to E fuels future if that happens too with vairable displacement like nissan

    what if get rid of spinning parts like 2 combustion chamber on ends of one piston shaft, it goes back and forth by one explosion on one side, then another on other side. piston where combustion is not happening, piston pushes air into compressed air container. container leaks air into turbine in wheel, pushing the wheel. wheels outer edge is pushed first for more wheel torque to get heavy car moving, then the inner turbine is pushes for faster spinning wheel per amount of energy when car isnt so heavy to move in direction its laready being moved toward.

    for braking, wheel compresses air into air container. electric motor output and regenerative braking power assists this system, but recylable non rare earth materials used. so electric battery use minimized, in exchange for storing energy in compressed air. compressed air tubes may also be part of the compressed air container. so, it can be not a effeincy problem to have more tube mass… which aso means heavy parts can be middle of car, as explained in 4 seater midengine concept here

    aptera wouldnt be so big if they used those bmw i3 tires (i dont know how much of those are made) with taller thinner motors,

    move the front axle a bit more closer to front end to allow same amount fo space between cabin and wheels except narrower

    if the seats are like bench seats, one door per row of seating would be easier to make and more structrally strong per amount of mass required. hatch trunk door can replace door for rear seats if the seats slide foward if pulled by rope to make it easier to sit into it. the sides of the door can have canals for water to slide away from getting onto person when door opens by mechanical connection to door, with a arm that slides in when door closed, and as door opens, the arm slides out of another arm on rails, the end of the arm is.

    what if door was more like dallara stradale doors? sure aptera probably needs more root strength but can make the door not so tall

    a eco drive mode might still be helpful for drivers who are too lazy to follow a single light bar on a tinted HUD near drivers forward looking line of sight.

    laziness already happens today as people stressing out more from changing focus from their phones texting to audio playing to driving etc, i’ve seen many women switch tasks from driving to doing their makeup garbage.

    i think despite new world laziness, enough people will use the gamification over the lazy person eco mode, after all aptera is a effiency car and people who dont care about efficiency probably would have brought other 2 seater cars. itll be easy to use, interface is simple overall: besides the light bar would be would be estimated miles of driving range left and a speedometer number, maybe small parts damage warning lights although that can be on the infotainment screen always appearing at a tab on bottom of screen, which flashes a bold attractive light to remind user every time car stops or starts engine.

    more entertaining focused driving will make people stress less and focus on safety more, given entertainment from switching lot of ones focus to phone etc is not reliably very entertaining (social media algorithms use “intermittent reinforcement” conditioning to maintain addiction to product, which means content shown to person is attractive once in a while not always). driving is made more interactive by higher physical feedback from steering wheel and chassis making cars movement felt more(make driver more connectied to car by , and encouraging hypermiling technique as i described. for people who drive where roads that move left right up and down more, they will use gamification over eco mode more bc there is more to do in gamification. less power steering can save energy too, but some will not buy the car without it (old disabled people, stressed people who dont want to play with the gamification, etc), so ideally power assist can be switched on and off. another part of driving fun is engine sound being direct consequence of drivers actions, correlating with stuff driver pays attention to like cars movement. downloadable harmonious sounds could give part of what makes gmat50 v12 or lfa v10 sound good inside car. it dont have to be as much loud surround sound with correlation of some seat and steering wheel vibration from engine, but it would mean better efficiency despite energy cost of making sound if it makes the difference between driver using gamification over eco mode, for safer more efficient driving and more joy associated with the car and brand, which they express on social media (marketing).

    i think a pedal position recommendation as a light bar moving would help, for example how much brake pedal pressing to do to slow down with minimal brake wear according to distance between car and cars behind and up front. another consideration is tire wear levels by simulation given g forces (g force meter would allow non driving enthusiast drivers to know where grip limit is so he can maintain momentum instead of braking and speeding up, which means longer battery life and better effiency.) or it calculates tire wear by speed and steering wheel angle history. cars usually have outside temperature measures do, which also helps know tire tempurature. temp affects tire grip level per amount of tire wear including tire air pressure.

    a such a thing for gas pedal would consider road elevation changes, like applying more power when at a downhill and maintaining that momentum, without accidently going too far above speed limit so you dont have to slow down

    steady slow steering is something that doesnt need assistence, it is to minimize tire wear

    a reminder of “how to drive effceintly” as i said every time the car turns on, include “steer slowly” as i mentioned here
