I have always had an interest in EVs from over a decade ago and discovered Aptera in the Spring of 2021. Immediately I was very impressed by a company that would put aerodynamics first. They built it from the ground up to be as efficient as possible and this was something that caught my attention. I respect them a lot because no other electric vehicle company has taken it as far as they have.
I lived mostly in Utah but when I was three, my family moved to Japan for a couple of years. I don’t remember much of this time, but I do have an affinity for Eastern culture. About a decade ago, I started to get into Kundalini Yoga and I became a teacher. I help people find balance in a world that needs it more than ever.
I grew up racing at autocross events. It was a fun way to improve your skills as a driver in a very dynamic and unique way. I look forward to taking my future Aptera to an autocross event to really test out the speed and handling of the vehicle. On my YouTube channel, I’ve put out a video called the “Top 21 Reasons to Buy an Aptera”. I’ve also put out videos on Aptera updates, reactions, and ideas.
In 2020, I purchased a second-hand Nissan Leaf. It gets about 70 miles of range. I love the fact that with an Aptera I wouldn’t have to charge it that much and pretty much travel around for free via the sun. When I am charging the Leaf, I often mention Aptera, and most people are stunned. They can’t believe they haven’t heard about the company and feedback is always positive.
I find ways to use less energy at home and when I’m away. At my apartment, I have an old solar panel I have wired to charge a couple of devices via USB. I challenged myself to not use A/C at my apartment for the last 3 years and have adapted to it in various ways.
My friends and family are excited about my role as an Aptera Ambassador. They truly hope the company is successful.
