I initially found out about Aptera through Linked In. I saw a picture of the vehicle and the shape really caught my attention. I am passionate about Mother Nature and discovered that Aptera was partially powered by the sun. This really intrigued me.
I am originally from Mexico and I come from a family who was very involved in the media industry. My father was a very well-known writer in Mexico and my sister is a famous actress. I have a cousin who is also an actor and another is a TV host. I studied filmmaking but wound up working in front of the television cameras. I spent many years in the TV industry but always had the desire to tell women’s stories or bring heroines to the screen.
A few years ago, I launched my media brand anchored in storytelling La Mariposa Films to highlight the stories of women. I also love to tell stories that aim to inspire and empower others or create change. When I am not creating and in production, I give speeches and workshops about storytelling. I am also an activist for Mother Earth and all her beautiful gifts that she shares with us.
Currently I live in Florida, but I have travelled and lived around the globe because of my father’s diplomatic career. As a result of this, I am fluent in four languages: English, Spanish, French and Italian. My unique upbringing and global perspectives greatly influence my creative projects and productions. I had the opportunity to live in Italy for seven years. I also lived in Spain and France. I find that Spain is really embracing the green revolution and it’s really thrilling to see the changes taking place there.
As an Aptera Ambassador I really hope that I can bring awareness on how incredible it is to have a vehicle that harnesses the power of our sun. This is very important for me and the changes I would like to see in our planet. I know that others who live in areas with lots of sunshine will find it extremely beneficial. I am hoping that as a storyteller I will help tell more stories about Aptera and share its mission and message in live events or with the media. It is through sharing stories that we can bring more change and awareness for the greater good of humanity.
My two kids think the Aptera looks more like a UFO than a vehicle. They are also very excited by the mission of helping Mother Earth.
As a vegan I am very conscious about what I eat and spend time each day meditating and in connection with nature. This is my fuel. I really want to do good things for our planet. I truly believe in the healing power of the sun and spend many mornings enjoying the sun rise and evenings watching it set. What Aptera is doing is truly aligned with who I am and what I am all about.
