On reddit they’re saying that it was a data entry problem – one of the oldest investors added $10k to get onto the leaderboard, but it was entered as if the original investment was on the same day.

Happy to see number 1 drop to 2nd place who only invested 10k more from their previous investment. New number 1 actually just made a $4,000,000 investment.

Am I missing something? The new #1 I see is still there at $4M but it wasn’t a new $4M investment. It looks like a new 10K investment on an existing $4M investor.

Their original $3.9 M investment was Jan. 2022 and then to qualify for the Accelerator program and get on the leaderboard they invested $10K more last week. Once you qualify for the Accelerator program, which started January 27th 2023, your entire investment amount is included. At least that’s my understanding of how it works.

FWIW, I think that DI might be Sandy Munro putting new funds in to officially get Accelerator slots #1 and #3. He’s the only one I’ve seen mentioned in SEC filings that has contributed at $4MM ‘exactly’ accounting/rounding wise at some point in the past. It’s a great sign to me…for so many reasons.

I just checked the leaderboard and my number went from 300 to 148, and my investment amount is incorrect (lower). I’m assuming that the problem will be corrected, but it’s disconcerting to see on this mornings update. Oddly, my investment amounts on aptera.us are correct for the first time. I’m guessing that someone was entering data and messed up the spreadsheet. Hoping they have a valid backup that isn’t too old.

Still 1/4 of slots remaining. Something needs to come along and energize this. Does not look good to take so long to fill the 2,000 slots. Implies the demand is not strong for Aptera or that there is not sufficient confidence to motivate investment right now.

10k is a big ask to invest in a company that’s not officially tradable through a major exchange. These are not funds that you can use directly towards the purchase of your vehicle. You can easily get 5% return on your investment with cd’s.

Maybe lower the entry level for the 2,000 slots and don’t offer the 5% discount unless you invest the original entry point of $10k. If $5k secures me a slot and I could possibly add more if I decide to prior to closing the Accelerator Program to also allow me to move up the list or to shoot for my 5% discount. Just spitballing here.

I still think a major funding announcement would mitigate the remaining slots.

Looks like 4 Accelerators were just in the backlog for over the past week and just posted today. It’s a small relief to me to see this update on the board. Hopefully more are in the system— just lagging in similar fashion.

Made my monthly Accelerator investment today…and once it posts should move me up 496 slots! Can’t say I’ll be able to beat that next month in slots gained. Certainly glad to move up from the back of the pack.

Getting closer to filling those top 2000 slots, as only 511 are remaining this morning. All it needs now is a push of some kind, a whale, or a fleet purchase from a national chain of pizza places, or a loan agreement for a bond, or CPC buying a 10% and stake opening an assembly plant, or Mitsubishi Motors signing an agreement to assemble at their plant in southeastern Asia. Those remaining slots will disappear quickly with any of the above-mentioned happenings, and possible 3 or more I cannot even conceive of! Or validation of the past claims about Aptera with the opening of the production line. The possibilities here are better than ever before, and the persistence of the fan base has helped to inspire Steve Fambro, and Chris Anthony to make it possible. The finish line is getting closer by the minute, I can’t wait, like a kid waiting for the Christmas packages.
