The answer I received from an ambassador on Friday was because it would hold up better over the next months when Gamma is shipped around the country for show-and-tell.

Just in case this was not yet mentioned. I measured the cargo area of Gamma on Saturday with the iPhone AR Measure tool. The depth at center is a 5’2” (+/- 1”). The longest diagonals are 6’1” (+/- 1”).

Chris mentioned yesterday in his presentation at Fully Charged that they plan to offer external panels for camping/charging in remote areas. If memory serves, he said 1 kW.

In the June webinar at about 38:00 minutes, they mention that they squeezed 4 extra panels on the hood and alluded to additional panels elsewhere on the vehicle. Has there been any more discussion of this? Anybody know exactly where and how this was done?

I’m counting 193 cells (30+20+50+93) total. At 3.8 W, that adds up to 733.4 W. Nice!
