I chose 1000.
I umpire baseball. It’s not unusual (at least a few times a year) where I drive 300+ miles to a baseball field, spend a few hours there, and then drive back home. These make for VERY long days even in the best of circumstances. The last thing I want to do is spend more time not-driving. Additionally, with cold weather reducing range of EVs, this gets me enough spare capacity that I don’t need to worry about it. I can charge at home nearly exclusively (unless I’m planning a road trip)
I looked at getting a different EV this last year (a Hyundai Kona), and by the time I divert my course so that I could get to charging stations and then do the actual charging, it changed my time on the road from 11 hours for my farthest trip to 19 hours.
