My first Lego Aptera is a bit rough around the edges, and not nearly as aerodynamic as a true 1:1 model would have been. I designed the frame, and my son picked out some interesting door and window choices. Hopefully you can see the basic shape coming together. Robotic driver, I guess, since this model does not yet have seatbelts. Safety first!

Personally, third seat would be at the top of my priorities. May or may not be a dealbreaker in the end for me, since this will primarily be a commuting vehicle. I would be able to sell our Subaru if the Aptera had a third seat though. Along with that, I think upgraded carry capacity would be important, so it’s probably best to leave this to future models. I would much rather see the team get this vehicle shipping to customers with the current features than see them get stuck trying to implement nice features that aren’t necessities.
