Would it be possible in the future to do a variation that has the tandem 1 front seat/ 1 back seat configuration? I’m not sure how it would impact the aerodynamics but it would at least be narrower as result, a plus for those of us that are a little hesitant about the width of the aptera and don’t necessarily need much in terms of trunk space.

What about solar cell swapping if something better comes to market, what swift solar is developing with perovskite has me excited at the possibilities? Perhaps there will come a point that the aptera is powered exclusively by the sun on clear days and the battery is there as a back up for night driving or supplemental power source when there is overcast.

Has there been talk of being able to use the battery and solar charge for other things?

If my math is right a full solar pack generates up to 4kW a day under ideal conditions, not enough to power a house but certainly some appliances on an extension cord with a multi plug when the lights go out or you’re camping. Perhaps when you’re aptera is fully charges it could even be possible to redirect the excess solar energy generated into the grid and take a good 10 to 20 dollars off your monthly home electricity bill.

Maybe the width. The biggest thing I’ve driven up to this point is a Lincoln Towncar that was 10 inches narrower and it was a pain to park and navigate car lots in. I’m sure I can get used to it in time but if a narrower version or configuration comes along you can go ahead and sign me up.

I’m sure someone has already mentioned this or its already been answered. If your aptera is already fully charged and you’re not going anywhere with it for a day or more, could the energy being generated by the solar be redirected towards one’s house or the grid and use that excess energy to reduce our home electric bill?

Since it is electric and a big complaint by the public about them is that they naturally don’t produce a sound that alerts people to its presence, could there be an option that does produce a sound? Also if that is already planned could one of the sound options be the noise that the flying cars from The Jetsons make, its first thing that popped into my head upon originally seeing the aptera?
