Agreed. At least it doesn’t cover any of the text on the screen. Still, it is a distraction.

After cleaning off the rear view camera on my car, I thought about the Aptera. In particular, I wonder how clean the side cameras and rear camera (not back up camera) will remain in bad weather. The LE version has the trunk cover with solar cells, so no help there. Perhaps the air flow will naturally keep these cameras clean?

Did no one else notice the battery supply agreement? This is a big deal!

It would be interesting to know how many people invested a new $2K to get $1K off the vehicle. I did.

Now the Aptera and Fisker PEAR are neck and neck for delivery in 2025.
I’m still favoring Aptera, but we will see which crosses the line first.

With Apple CarPlay and the Android equivalent, I don’t see a need for a radio.

19684 reserved in March 2021. When do I get my LE?
Not an Accelerator, so I know not the first 2,000.

So Chris just said that Accelerator investors will start receiving vehicles late in 2024. So us others can expect delivery somewhere in 2025. Gosh, that’s two years later than when I reserved a vehicle. Not good.

Does the LE have heated seats and heated steering wheel? Can’t seem to find an answer on the website.

I know the width at the widest point. OK? I don’t know the width of the body.
When I park the Aptera in my garage next to my wife’s SUV I will need to angle it in a bit, to the right. So where will the left end of the Aptera end up? I can only determine that by knowing the width of the body. OK?

Aptera has provided most of the specs for the vehicle. There is (to me) a missing spec: The width of the body. I know the overall width is 87.6″. However, to get a feel of how it will fit in my garage I’d like to know the width of the body itself. Maybe that is somewhere on their site and I simply haven’t found it.

I used an AR pic of an Aptera in my driveway in a post on Nextdoor. Quickly got about 10 responses and a dozen comments. Several visited the website to learn more. Great advertising!

Soon after the start of the pandemic, various stores began to offer curbside pickup. Stop in front of the store and text or email that you are out front. When the worker with the goods comes out, you pop the trunk, they put the goods in the trunk and close the trunk and you drive off. Will we be able to pop the trunk from inside the Aptera?

At some point in 2024 (2024, please!), Apterae will be rolling out across the USA. However, each one of those vehicles must be registered in the state to which it is delivered. How many people at the HQ are working on the registration process for each state? Given the sluggish nature of many DMVs, this could be an onerous task.

WhileI agree their website sucks and no real specs, they are making progress on the PEAR.
