I am sure the CPC parts will be fit for purpose. The Aptera BINC will be awesome.
One difference between a Formula 1 cockpit and the CPC parts is fibre alignment. As the stress bearer is the carbon, not the resin … fibre alignment is important.
(I have never built a formula 1 car, so I admit to a certain amount of guessing here)

Why 3 wheels?
Aerodynamics, aerodynamics and aerodynamics.

You could add a clear wrap that blocks UV. Same idea as clear window film.

REMEMBER … if you want to invest in Aptera but don’t have $10K, then you can still invest!
You can invest in Aptera as little as $210. Visit Republic.com.
I am not a financial adviser, this is not financial advice.๐

Does the Launch Edition have RFID for entry to the Aptera?
How do you unlock it …… i know it has knock-knock but what validates entry?
I ask because the basic circuit design shown in one of the presentations shows the knock-knock sensor but no RFID sensor.

Hi Aptera Marketing,
We are nerd buyers in a niche market and we care about specifications.
Search for “specifications” on aptera.us/ … … NOTHING
Search for “specifications” on aptera.us/reserve/ … … NOTHING
Search for “specifications” on the aptera.us/vehicle/ … … NOTHING
If you don’t show your target audience what they need to see then they will not buy or invest.

oh, My bad.
I thought Gamma as a drivable vehicle that was 100% finished but used 80% production parts.
IFF it is 100% finished then a race track would be a good safe place to do demonstrations …. Gamma is way too valuable to race.

I understand it may be in Italy and I know it has important work to do at CPC.
My point is that Aptera got this far because it had a big buzz on youtube. I look for Aptera news daily.
Feed the buzz or watch funding dry up.
By feed the buzz i DON’T mean employees riding around reading scripts. I mean get some proper feedback like they had on the previous ride arounds.
If it is at CPC …. there has to be a race track close by. Give us some sugar!!!!

The author misses the point that some people invest in companies and technology startups because we want to support the development of the product.
My investment is based on wanting the best future for Aptera, not on greed and self interest.

Good idea Paul. Heavy regen without brake lights in my van worries me and scares people driving behind me.
Hi Riley, I had not heard auto lighting of the brakes on regen was implemented.
How do did you find out it is implemented?

I want to get the RFID implanted in my hand.
That way when I go to the beach I don’t need my keys.

The big news here was he mentioned a ramp to 40 per day … and then to ๐80๐ per day.

I agree that Gamma is important for validation before production and for further testing.
It will be interesting to see if funding comes after Gamma.
I am sure Gamma will be an awesome success and reach most if not all of the goals Aptera has set for themselves.
I am a lot more concerned about Aptera getting enough investment capital to reach full scale production. Some news on this would help ease my mind.

If Accelerate is at $17.75m and Republic is at $1.41M, then the total is $19.16M.
Well less than a million to reach the $20M target!!!!
ALMOST THERE.๐บ

I agree, some form of dual authentication would be ideal. Something that relies on the user knowing the key.
Password knock on knock sensor, PIN, fingerprint, draw a pattern on screen.

I see there are mouldings under the cup holders to catch spillage or condensation.
