I am having problems with the Computershare login. I go through all the screens up to the point where I am required to submit my phone number for a security code and get an error message that says service is temporarily unavailable. I discussed this with an agent who informed me that there may be some maintenance being performed and that I should try again later. I did manage to login once, earlier in the day, after that discussion. I am trying again after making a stock purchase to qualify for the Accelerator program with the same problem. Is anyone else having this problem? Frustrating, to say the least.

Call the Computershare customer service number – they can help you. This is not an Aptera issue.

Just got a letter in the mail listing the Computershare Account holder ID as well as other specific information.

They just not manage to send the registration letter to Germany (and yes, my address is correct and nothing fancy). As even the second letter was not sent (or not received) their support just does not respond, even the hotline is not reachable (no one picks up).

I am trying to get access for more than a month now. 🙁

Ich seit 1 Jahr ohne Erfolg, andauerndes hin halten immer wieder sollte ich neue accounts Eröffnen usw. Ich hatte es eigentlich abgehackt auch das Geld aber dann kam heute am 17.1.2024 ein Schreiben wo es um Steuern in den usa geht und da ich mehrmals zurück getreten wie gekündigt habe und dieses Schreiben nicht zurück sende werde Ich morgen Strafanzeige bei der Deutschen Polizei wegen Betrugs machen! Totale verarsche, ob aptera oder computershare.

I received a form from Compushare last week, but didn’t fill it out yet. I wasn’t quite sure what it was for as I had bought some Aptera shares through Republic and thought it might be a scam. After reading this thread I think it’s legit.

Same issue here: Never get the letter with the temporary code. I live in Germany and wrote to the Computershare support. I hope they can solve the issue.

Same issue for me in France. I never received the letter.

Got my code today. It took two letters. The first one never arrived. The second one took 22 days. I’m happy to see my shares now 🙂

So meine Erfahrung mit Aptera und computershare!

Würde ich noch mal investieren : auf keinen Fall.

Dann Wechsel nach Computershare.

Konto kann seit über 1 Jahr nicht erstellt werden, mit immer den gleichen ausreden, mehrmalige Kündigung der Investition verlangt und Geld zurück.

Lied vom Ende, 2 Jahre versuche ich hier raus zu kommen und mein Geld zurück zu bekommen.

Da ich nun heute am 17.1.2024Post bekommen habe mit, Steuern die Ich in den USA zahlen soll, gehe ich Morgen zur Polizei und stelle gegen Aptera Motors und Computershare.com Strafanzeige.

After many month, I received a letter (!) today, with a bizarre form to identify myself again (!) as a no-US citizen. Again, I have even sent a copy of my german passport already in the past. I have to provide some US-socialnumbers I don’t have bla bla bla. Otherwise they will keep 24% of my money as ‘taxes’. Why is it so difficult just to just accept that there are in fact people on this planet outside the US? Where is problem? I just want my money back on this point, don’t have any trust in this anymore.

Ich teile Ihre Ansicht ich habe das gleiche wie sie, seit über 1 Jahr komme ich aus der Nummer nicht raus! Ob aptera oder computershare,nur hinhalten ohne wirkliche Lösungen! Ich habe mehrmals gekündigt und bin zurück getreten! Ergbis:Geld weg, und Probleme und jetzt wollen die noch Steuern als nicht Amerikaner! Gestern erhielt ich ein schreiben das steuern anfallen als nich Amerikaner, das schreiben kam nicht aus den USA sondern über eine Briefkasten Firma von computershare aus Frankreich! Sehr skurril und lässt nur zu das es sich um aptera und auch computershare.com um ein Betrug handelt.

# It took serveral month and mails to get the first verification code. I live in Germany.

# My second investment (this time via the accelerator program), got new account at Computershare. I don’t know why and it was not possible to type the existing account in the investment form. So, I had to wait another 1-2 month for the letter with the activation code

# Meanwhile I got a letter with forms about my tax status. A bit weired, because I stated everything on registration and investment, but I gave them the information.

# The leaderboard shows only my investments since the accelerator program, but not total investment, that is in my Computershare account. Nothing big, but a bit disappointing.

What went realativly well:

# After verification it was possible to merge both accounts with the help of the Computershare support. (Ok. That took a couple of weeks, but in the end it was fine)

# I figured out, that the problem with the letter was my address. It has the character ö. After changing that to “oe” the letters got more “quickly” (2-3 weeks) to my home

I will stay invested in Aptera. This vehicle must hit the road 🙂
